Next, on the list you will find the Sony KDL40V5100 offering a 1080p resolution with a 120 MHz refresh rate. This set is a 40 inch in the Bravia V series offering a great quality picture but at a reasonable price. This set even offers 7 HDMI inputs, which is amazing.

Remember when looking at this size screen to purchase, the optimal viewing range is 14 feet from the television. Of course, you will want to ensure that the viewing range is adequate for all that will be watching. You will not want some seats to be as close at 4 feet and others 20 feet or the image quality will not be as good.
